{. the cottage .}

snug in a corner of our backyard sits a sweet little refuge known as {. the cottage .}, das Gasthaus. soon a coat of grey-blue paint will grace it's exterior (as shown on the adirondack chairs), devonshire cream on the trim (shown on door), interior insulation and bead board, wood floor, and a built-in bed. 

interior is 10 x 12

porch is 10 x 4

dresser, comfy chair, heater, 

a/c, cozy comforters, coffee maker

and luggable-loo (for nighty time tinkles),

lots of flowers and a brick path.

.. prettiness and hominess .. 

. it's gonna happen .

the 5-panel door is vintage,

from my brother in law's 

childhood home.

i'm thankful and honored

to use it in this way ..

can you envision what the interior

will reflect when completed?

think : white, lapis blue, touches

of yellow, orange and black.
